Just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had in Brightwater Lodge. It was utterly amazing and we really didn’t want to leave – we all agreed that we’d be back in a heartbeat!

We spent hours gazing out of those wonderful picture windows just watching the ever-changing landscape over the Loch and being entertained by the huge variety of birds visiting the feeders. And of course we were SO excited when the pine marten came to visit – you can’t imagine how thrilled we were on the first night when he made his appearance, such a character! We saw him every night after that, apart from one, so we were very lucky. Krish had a great birthday and the cake and card etc was such a lovely touch and very much appreciated, big thanks to Christine and Ian.

We all had a brilliant afternoon kayaking with Karl from Otter Adventures – a ‘first’ for Krish and myself and the weather couldn’t have been better. We stopped for a brew and then he produced a selection of Kate’s cakes complete with a little candle to wish Krish a happy birthday too – it was such a nice touch and made it even more memorable.

The boys spent a day on Staffa Island, which they said was incredible. Being able to see those gorgeous puffins at such close range was unbelievable.

I could go on and on extolling the virtues of your wonderful holiday home … (as I did in the Visitors Book!), but alas I must catch up with all my work now. We do hope we will be able to visit again in the not too distant future and thank you for making this holiday such a great experience with special memories to cherish.
